With being a licensed cosmetologist for the past 10 years now, I have learned a lot of great things. I took a Cosmetology course right out of high school which allowed me to study everything from hair, makeup, esthetics, massages and nails. I wasn’t sure what I was going to be good at or what I was going to like doing so I wanted to be able to have my options open. I did steer more into the hair styling and hair coloring side of things. I was a little more creative in this area and I fell in love with coloring hair. I still had a love for beauty and makeup application and even though I was great at doing massages, it just wasn’t my thing. I just really couldn’t sit there all day long massaging people and having my hands cramp up after being there for many hours. Doing facials on the other hand seemed neat, but like I said I wanted something new and exciting every day.
When I started beauty school I was fairly young and only 18 years old at the time. To me, I didn’t see the importance of Skin Care at the time. I didn’t really have any skin issues and when I started to study esthetics, it was probably more something that scared me because I didn’t want to mess with anyone’s face. I seen how irritated and red the skin would get whenever we would do the microdermabrasion treatments or chemical peels. I tried to steer away from getting that done on myself because all of the students had to demo these treatments on each other. I avoided it at all costs, because like I said, I didn’t really have any skin issues so why change something that doesn’t need fixing?
When I finished beauty school, I went on to work at mostly doing hair but I eventually found a passion for makeup later on in my journey. It took me a while to grow my clientele base and to venture out on my own instead of being with a corporation which is when I eventually ventured into starting my own business in the Skin care and cosmetic industry. I mostly started this business to be able to start building my makeup kit and to make it a little easier for me, expense wise. In this business I am able to sell beauty products, so it also allowed for me to make extra income if anyone was interested in purchasing the products I was using on them. It wasn’t my intention to really get anyone to buy unless they really enjoyed the products themselves, but once I started using the products myself and once my clients started to use them, I instantly noticed a difference in my skin and how amazing these products are. I started to take on more training with the company to just learn more about Skin Care again just as a refresher, but I also learned so much about how these products worked compared to anything else.
I’m not going to go into all that detail because I made this blog post to share how you could get flawless looking skin yourself. Regardless of what products you use, there are some key important things to know when it comes down to taking good care of your skin and how to get the best skin you could have. Most people think it might take getting occasional facials, which is always great, but it doesn’t need to take a lot of money and its things you could be doing at home to maintain the appearance of your skin and it doesn’t take thousands of products to get it that way either. With the products that I’m currently using today, I can truly say my skin has never been better and that I technically don’t really ever have to go and get a facial again! That’s saving me tons of money from my own pocket. It’s okay to splurge and have them done occasionally, though. It all starts with basic Skin Care, depending on your current skin issues and skin type.
It’s very important to get started with a Skin Care regimen at a very early age. The sooner you start to take really good care of your skin, the more you can prevent any signs of aging or aging of your skin at an early age. I didn’t realize the importance until I was in my late 20’s and started to realize my skin was getting dull and dry. Once I started to implement a good Anti-aging Skin Care Regimen is when it all changed. Using Anti-aging Skin Care products are so important. Yes, for the most part you want to use something to cleanse your face really well. Cleansing your face is the most important part, you want to make sure you are cleansing your face twice a day just as if you would brush your teeth twice a day. When I wear makeup, I make sure I double cleanse, once to get off all the makeup and again to get a good cleanse. Start by using a really great Anti-aging cleanser.
Here are the main factors of getting flawless skin: Cleanse, Tone, Exfoliate, Moisturize and using Eye cream.
